A millionaire has been brutally murdered at his house, and a valuable briefcase has been taken from the safety-deposit box. When the millionaire’s bodyguard returns to the scene of the crime, he finds three witnessess-cum-suspects: the millionaire’s son; a seemingly-sweet young girl; and a bohemian magician. They retell the scenes of the murder from conflicting points of view, each articulating a different version of who committed the crime.
