Carlos--a good-looking, unscrupulous man living in Spain--is asked by his pious mother to represent the family at a stateside wedding. He happily obliges, but with ulterior motives, and convinces his down-on-his-luck friend, Gonzalo, to keep him company on the trip. Once across the Atlantic, Carlos lays bare his true plans: Gonzalo will impersonate him at the wedding, while Carlos seduces an old flame living in Brooklyn, but the whole plot will blow up in their faces when the two friends fall for the bride-to-be and the groom's mistress!
